2nd Birthday Party

First of all, I want to apologize for my lack of posts.

Its been a little busy around here!

The triplets turned 2 on October 29th.

I still cannot believe its been two years already.

We had a birthday party for them on October 24th.

The theme of the party was Elmo since all three love Elmo.

The kids had such a good time!!!

Many of our family members and friends came to celebrate with us that day.

The Babies Spend The Night With Nana and Papa

Bags packed for Nana and Papa's house...It's date night for Mommy and Daddy! Nana and Papa were thrilled to have the babies stay the night!

They made scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast Nana let them make a huge mess in her kitchen

The kids had a blast and were completely wore out

by the time we picked them up.

As for me and Branson, we sure enjoyed

our date night and appreciated my parents so much

for letting us have a night to ourselves. We went

to Olive Garden and to the movies then slept till 9

that next morning. We missed the kids though!

The house is too quiet without them!

We had our picture made at church and I was so surprised at how nice it turned out. The camera man got everyone to look at the camera at the same time... which is hard to do!

We ordered a large photo and

will proudly hang it in our family room.

July 4th 2009

We spent the 4th of July this year at my

father in law's house in Louisiana.

They live on a gorgeous lake

and have a beautiful pool.

The kids had a blast swimming.

They weren't afraid at all and even
jumped off the side over and over.

fireworks show.

Carrigan didn't know what to think at first.

It was a long day full of lots of fun grilling out, swimming, and watching fireworks. The kids were exhausted at the end of the day! We finally got them in bed around 10:00pm.

Father's Day

We had a cookout this weekend to celebrate Father's Day.

I am sooooo blessed to have the best Daddy in the world

and a really sweet Father in Law.

And I am so proud of what

a great Daddy Branson is to our children.

Branson and I had some work to do in

the flowerbeds, so we let the kids

play in their kiddie pool.

They had a blast!

Taylor's Birthday Party

Today was our good friends Carl and Anna's son

Taylor's first birthday party.

The boys were not feeling well,

so we just took Carrigan to the party.

Brody and Caden stayed with Nana & Papa. The birthday boy!

Carrigan had so much fun playing in the ball pit.
And snacking on cheese puffs

On our way home. Hot and tired!

It was weird only having one child with us and I
always feel guilty doing something with one
and not the others. But its nice at the same time
to spend one on one time.
Its just that I always try to be fair.

But the boys had a BLAST at Nana and Papa's house!

They went bowling on the wood floor.
They built a tent!
Papa, Caden, and Brody inside the tent.

Caden loves cooking over at Nana and Papa's house.
Then he feeds everyone a bite of it.

Even though we weren't all together today, everyone
had a fun day. Maybe the boys will feel better soon.

19 months old!

I have totally been blessed with these precious babies!

They turned 19 months old today!

They are such happy, smart, and healthy babies.

You would never know that they were born premature.

They learn something new each day and it

always amazes me!

Their vocabulary is really growing.

Some of the words that they say often are

Mama, Daddy, Nana, Papa, Grandmother, Paw Paw,

Daisy, Max, Belle, ball, juice, book,

uh-oh, yes, uh-uh (no), duck, bird, fish, flower,

bra-bra (zebra), roo-roo (kangaroo), panda, monkey, bug,

bear, dog, bubble, shoes, bye bye, girl, boy, hi, baby, more and thank you.

They also say many animal sounds including

lion, sheep, snake, duck, dog, monkey, rooster

and can show using their arms how a bird flies and

how a gator goes chomp chomp.

They can also gallop like a horse.

And of course can point to their eyes, nose, mouth, hair,

ears, belly button and toes!

They understand almost everything we say to them

and can follow directions well.

People always ask me if they are alike and the truth is, they couldn't be more different than one another.

They have very different personalities

and are each special in their own way!

Brody has the best laugh I have ever heard! He is strong willed. He knows exactly what he wants, and wants to do everything by himself. He can throw some pretty funny fits at times. He is an extremely picky eater and noodles are a no no with Brody. He wants me to kiss his bo-bo's over and over. He studies things and wants to know how everything works. He has a very sweet singing voice and can sing "Row row row your boat". Brody likes everything to be in its place always. He is constantly putting things back where they go or letting me know that something isn't just right.

He is such a joy!

Caden is a sweetheart. He is so tender hearted and sensitive. He will give a kiss anytime you want it and also likes to kiss his brother and sister. He rocks himself to sleep. He is super smart and learns very fast. He minds very well. He knows all animals including ones like pelican & panda. He loves doing the animal sounds. Caden is a great help when it comes time to clean up. He enjoys waving and smiling at people when we are out. He is a sweet, sweet baby.

Carrigan is absolutely beautiful! She is a prissy little girl!

She comes in a very tiny package but is oh so fiesty. She is our daredevil. She loves the thrill of doing something dangerous. She gives the sweetest kisses and smacks when she gives a kiss. This girl will eat anything you put in front of her and she eats alot! She makes the funniest faces and has the sweetest voice! She is dramatic at times. Carrigan is so gentle with animals and has a very sweet nature. She is an angel!

These babies are my life. They give me such joy

and I am sooooo proud to be their Mommy.

God truly blessed me and Branson!

Our Playroom

We turned our guest bedroom into a FUN

playroom for the kids!

I had someone paint on the walls and the kids love it!

Instead of doing a toy box, I put together a storage unit

and organized the toys.

The kids know where everything goes

and always help pick up when

playtime is over.

Our First Trip to the Zoo

their first trip to the zoo.

The kids all showed me which animal they wanted to see at the zoo.
It was a gorgeous day!

Caden got a little confused when he saw the zebra.

He yelled out "moo"

but then thought about it and yelled out "bra bra".

We took them on their first train ride.

We decided that the perfect place to eat on our day full of animals

would be one of our favorite places, The Plaid Rhino.

It was a great finish to our fun-filled day!The kids were exhaused. They took a 3 hour nap when we got home.

Mischievous Brody

This is how we found Brody this morning...

This afternoon, the kids were playing in the playroom, so I decided to clip coupons. Well, they got really quiet, so I went to check on them and

this is what I found...

Someone had gotten into the closet - that I didn't even know they could open - and got the box of crayons out. It was all over his face, in his ears, nose, hair, etc. and my carpet. (Those of you who know how I am about my carpet can laugh at this! I already steam cleaned it though.)

Brody has asthma

We went for our 18 month checkup on Wednesday. Brody weighs 22, Caden weighs 20, and Carrigan weighs 18 1/2. We also got our last shot until time for school. Yay! He did diagnose Brody with asthma and we had to purchase a nebulizer. He gets Pulmicort once everyday and Albuterol up to 4 times a day. Tonight was our first night to use the new machine and Brody did great. He thought he was cool because he got to sit on the counter and he just loved that his nebulizer is a bear! I hope that he outgrows this. It breaks my heart when he struggles to breathe.

Aunt Sheila's Graduation

Branson's Aunt Sheila graduated today from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors in Business Administration. We were so proud to be there with her! We love you Aunt Sheila and are so proud of you!

Our 7th Anniversary

Today is our 7th wedding anniversary! We have been together over 12 years! Branson and I started dating back in high school and even went to senior prom together. Way back then I would have never guessed that all these years later we would be married with triplets. But our life could not be more perfect and we enjoy our little family so much.
